Director’s Section
Manages and secures the operation and supervision of the Institute. It coordinates and integrates the operation of other sections. It provides for marketing and management, Institute's internal and external communication, particularly providing information in accordance with Act No. 211/2001 Coll. on access to information, relations with its founder, educational institutions of the ministries, secondary technical schools and their founders, labor market agencies and institutions, secondary technical school graduates’ employers, industries and other social partners.
Education and Policy Section
Fulfils tasks in the area of research, conception and career counseling in secondary vocational education and training, development and innovation of educational programs, projects, standards and other pedagogical documentation, development of textbooks and teaching aids. It performs tasks in the area of coordination and integration, information and pedagogical activities and in the field of further training of secondary vocational schools educators.
Youth Creativity and International Cooperation Section
Performs activities and tasks in the area of care for talented youth, international cooperation, elaboration and creation of education projects and programs at secondary apprentice and vocational schools in the Slovak Republic. It organizes training activities, internships, field trips, seminars, workshops, visits to specialized exhibitions for teachers and students of secondary apprentice and vocational schools abroad. It innovates the teaching methods at secondary schools by implementing simulation practices through simulations firms.
