Performs tasks resulting from the needs and demands of the ME SR, respective ministries, secondary technical schools and employment domain.
It materially and professionally secures tasks and performs activities in the following areas in particular:
- elaboration of fundamental documents and statements for conceptual and operational decision making of ME SR and elaboration of fundamental documents for making of standards and legal regulations,
- conception design of vocational education and training development in connection with actual and prospective trends and needs of national economy, social needs, labor market, employment and graduates’ placement,
- cooperation in the development of vocational education and training projects in interaction with schools, sectors, professional and educational institutions, academic establishments and other partners in the area of employment especially,
- provision of conceptual activity, research, development and prognoses,
- provision of advisory and coordination services for schools, educational institutions of sectors and regional authorities of state administration and self-government of school districts at the development of vocational education and training projects,
- cooperation and coordination in the development of pedagogical documentation, standard development methodology, graduate profiles, education contents and the adaptation of vocational education and training system in line with European systems and development tendencies,
- integration and objectification of the aims and standpoints of social partners and other stakeholders concerning the resolution of vocational education and training issues,
- planning and designing of textbooks and teaching aids,
- establishment and methodological guidance of technical commissions for development of pedagogical documents,
- providing appropriate training of secondary technical schools educators and development of the system of their further training,
- providing a strategy for development of career counselors at secondary schools and providing their training in form of distance learning.
