  • In the field of analysis and interconnectedness of education and labor market, the Department:
    • Promotes the creation of an environment for the realization of measure of Sectional Operational Program “Manpower”, measure 3.3.B Vocational Education and Labor Market Connecting Systems in cooperation with Bureau of Labor, Social Affairs and Family and other agencies with the objective to establish the “National Coordination Unit” ensuring the interconnectedness of vocational education and labor market.
    • Monitors needs of the labor market, the development of economy, technologies and new qualification demand on occupations.
    • Monitors and evaluates vocational education from the labor market viewpoint.
    • Evaluates schools graduates’ placement in the labor market including the unemployment rate of graduates and the analysis of the reasons of such development.
    • Monitors the development trends within the employment structures and prognoses of future development.
    • Proposes measures for assisting a successful transition of graduates to the labor market.
    • Gathers information on employers’ demands and needs of graduates’ preparedness.
    • Conducts research of career counseling services.
    • Cooperates in the development of system conception of career counseling in the section of education with other partners, in connection with the counseling system of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family.
